Overview

This article shows the cancellation process for contracted GAF projects. New homes in CA require homes to be sold with a solar system. In some cases, the deal may fall through or the client may request to purchase the system instead of leasing it.

At or prior to M0 approval (NTP)

GAF Energy Admins can cancel accounts

M1 approved (Install)

  • GAF Energy Admins have to chat in to platform operations to request cancellation.

  • They must provide a valid reason for the cancellation request such as the client switching from lease to cash or the home sale falling through.

M2 submitted or approved (activation)

  • The client must work with PLR to start purchase process if signed on GAF contract

  • If signed on PLR contract, client has to wait until the 5 year anniversary
