This article shows the Pre-payment, Transfer & Purchase process for contracted GAF projects. Clients have the option of pre-paying agreement, transferring the contract or purchasing the system as specified in their GAF or LightReach agreement.

Step-by-step
Step 1 | Client contacts our Customer support team at 855-339-1831 or emails [email protected] |
Step 2 | FinOps or CX determines if account has GAF or LR contract |
Step 3 | Case is created and assigned to FinOps |
Step 4 | FinOps provides quote outlined in customers contract |
Step 5 | Customer agrees or disagrees |
Step 6 | If Customer agrees an invoice will be sent out for payment |
Step 7 | Once invoice is paid, FinOps will generate a Termination agreement to be signed by customer |
Step 8 | Once signed, billing will be terminated and the process will be complete |
Step 1 | Client contacts CX at 855-339-1831 or submits a request via the New Service Transfer Form |
Step 2 | FinOps will determines if account has GAF or LR contract |
Step 3 | New credit application needed for incoming homeowner |
Step 4 | Once Credit is passed, Transfer agreement is sent out to all parties to sign |
Step 5 | Once Signed all billing and account access will be changed to new owner |
A | Better to buy or pre-pay? | There is no simple answer when determining the best option. Homeowners who wish to explore purchasing or pre-paying may see higher value in a particular option based on their personal circumstance.

B | Where can I view the total price of all Energy Plan pre-payments? | Homeowners can view the total cost of all Energy Plan payments on their Exhibit F (In most states. May vary.).

C | Purchase Price? | Homeowners opting to purchase the system will be offered a fair market price at the time of purchase. This price will be determined ultimately by a third party appraiser.

D | UCC-1? | When homeowners are prepping to sell, LightReach can release the UCC-1 upon either their purchase of the solar system, or, transfer the UCC-1 upon transfer of the Energy Plan to the new homeowner |
