The below checklist mirrors LightReach's full internal review process for M2s.

All requirements must be satisfied to achieve M2.

Each item detailed below features additional links to specific details.

Completing the M2 milestone requirements will require the customer to sign up for a webportal account. The Web portal invites are sent to the customer via Email directly from the finance portal.

  • Web Portal Account Sign Up

  • Homeowners will complete all requirements via their account (accessible via web browser or via app download).

B2

  • ID

All homeowners must complete identity verification. The homeowner web portal is the secure option to upload the ID for auto verification

  • Driver's license or other state issued ID card

  • Passport or passport card

  • Resident permit ID or green card

  • ACH

All homeowners must complete ACH. The homeowner web portal is the secure option to upload the banking information

  • Key in routing and account number

  • Instant verification on majority of accounts

  • Voided check verification, if necessary, on minority of accounts

    • A bank statement may be uploaded in place of the voided check to verify routing and account number entered

B4

  • Clear Facts Disclosure

A simple, non-invasive order summary.

Homeowner 'checks' key details of their Energy Plan and 'signs off' on their order details. This feature helps recap key order details and reinforces the sale. Completed in a matter of seconds.

  • After completion, a copy is emailed to the customer

Conditional Approval

If the M1 Installation Package recieved conditional approval:

  • Photos/Deliverables uploaded addressing the Conditional Approval notes

Extended Warranty

  • Extended warranty purchased for inverter(s) without standard 25 year warranty.

  • As of 5/29/25, LightReach will be stepping up to own the SolarEdge warranty application process. As such, the proof of extended warranty coverage for SolarEdge will no longer be required for M2.

    The EPC will still be responsible for the cost of the extended warranty, and LightReach will net the cost of the warranty for the milestone payment prior to batching.
